Online Accelerated Program Tuition

Designed to be affordable and convenient, our tuition is an outstanding value and far less of a financial investment than many other North Carolina universities. We also offer pay-by-the-course tuition for our online programs. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.

Navigating the world of financial aid can sometimes be challenging. We’re here to help you understand how the various programs blend together to create a financial aid package just for you.

Applying for Financial Aid

Many types of financial aid are available to students who qualify.

Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to qualify for Federal Student Aid (including Federal parent and student loans) state, or institutional aid.

Create an FSA ID at studentaid.gov so you may sign the FAFSA. Parents will also need to create one for dependent students.
Filing the FAFSA online is fastest: studentaid.gov/
Complete the FAFSA as soon as it opens each year
Students do not have to wait to be admitted to file the FAFSA
Include UNCW’s federal school code, 002984, so we have permission to access FAFSA information
Complete new FAFSA each year
January 1 is the typical priority date for filing the FAFSA for the public 4-year schools in North Carolina. FAFSAs continue to be processed after this date and throughout the academic year; but students are encouraged to file early for the best chance to receive limited funding.
